Important Message from the Conference Organizers

Dear MOLTH participants,

We are looking forward to welcoming you to McGill University for MO{L}T{H} March 22-23, 2014. This website contains some important logistical information. Please take note in particular that registration must be paid by check or money order.

1. Registration

* You can register from 9:00 AM onwards on Saturday or Sunday.

* Registration is $25/$35 for students/non-students without the workshop dinner, or $40/$55 with the dinner.

* We can accept checks or money orders only, payable to McGill University.

2. Hospitality

* The registration fee includes breakfast and lunch on both Saturday and Sunday.

* The dinner on Saturday night will be held in the elegant Thompson House, located near the workshop venue (http://thomsonhouse.ca/home). The food will be Lebanese and plentiful, with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. For drinks, there will be a cash bar. Please email us (molth14@gmail.com) if you will be attending dinner and haven’t let us know already via the pre-registration form, so we can order enough food.

3. Venue

*The workshop is being held in rooms 232 and 219 of the Leacock Building on McGill’s campus (see MAP). Breakfast begins at 9:00 and talks at 9:30 on both Saturday and Sunday (see PROGRAMME).

4. Presentations

If you are using a handout:

* We recommend bringing 40 copies for talks in the joint session (9:30-2:45 on Saturday), or 30 copies for talks in parallel sessions.

If you are using slides:

* To minimize technical delays, we highly recommend that you check that your presentation works on the projector (before your session), or upload your presentation to a flash drive which will be on the lectern (for presentation on a common laptop).

* Mac users who would like to project from their laptop should bring their own adapter (in case we don’t have the right version available).

If you are giving a poster:

* The poster boards should be there from 9 AM on Saturday. You can set your poster up anytime (there will not be assigned spots).

We look forward to seeing you all soon!

Jessica Coon (MOTH) and Morgan Sonderegger (MOLT), on behalf of the MOLTH organizing committee
